Kingdom Kids Newsletter - February 2026

We are praying for each of you daily.  We pray this newsletter will find you well and warm.

2026 has begun and with a new vision for the Children’s Ministry here at First Church.  I want to first thank each of you for letting me work with your child(ren).  Each one of these children is special in his/her own little way.  We want growth, but most importantly we ask for spiritual growth first and most foremost.  The children are learning the proper way to set in big church and serving as ushers in church.  Each Sunday we rotate a child to be the usher.  We are now trying to learn different songs, with hand movements(motions).  The most important is the sentence prayer at the end of our service, when each child thanks Jesus for his/her family, life, pet, parents, whatever  comes out we give Jesus thanks.  We are trying to come up with a schedule to keep them occupied and not bored just sitting and listening to me talk.  Thank you again for sharing your precious gifts—your children.

Just like the quote from Walt Disney. We need to quit talking so much and start doing what God wants us to do and show the Light of Life to this sad world.  We are all disciples of Jesus, let’s do what He wants us to do, share the Good News.  We need to step up in serving in our local body of believers.

Dear Heavenly Father, teach us, good Lord, to serve as you deserve; to give and not to count the cost; to heal the wounds. Be with us Father with a protective hedge around each one of your children.  Guide us and direct us to be more like you and I ask you to forgive us where we fail you, Father.  Give comfort and peace to all the shut-ins and the ones that just don’t want to be in fellowship at your house.  I ask these things in Jesus’ name.  Amen
